Pramono is calling for a city-wide rollout of these shelters in key strategic hubs, emphasizing that long-term maintenance is crucial.
"My hope is to see these facilities flourish across Jakarta—not just at this spot—and for them to be kept in pristine condition for the public," he remarked.
Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Budi Awaluddin is set to scale up the shelter network. By teaming up with property associations and business leaders, the agency is now pinpointing the next strategic locations for these convenient pick-up points.
He has directed a citywide rollout of these hubs to all bus terminals and is set to streamline station areas across Jakarta.
"The order is out: every terminal must have a dedicated shelter. With Pulogebang already onboard, we are ensuring that every other terminal follows suit to provide better facilities," he added.
Open around the clock and completely free to use, this facility is designed to support the mobility of drivers and the public alike.
